This Privacy Policy explains how IdeaRank AI (“we”, “us”), operating idearankai.software (the “Service”), collects, uses, shares, and protects your information. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information — your name, email address, and profile photo (if you sign in with Google), provided via Firebase Authentication.
Content you submit — the ideas, questions, answers, and any text you enter to get a verdict, generate ideas, build a waitlist page, or use other tools.
Usage & verdict data — the verdicts generated for you, your saved history, credits, plan/tier, and basic usage counters.
Payment information — processed by Razorpay. We receive a payment/transaction reference and status; we do not collect or store your full card, UPI, or bank details.
Technical data — IP address (used for rate-limiting and abuse prevention) and standard request metadata.
Waitlist signups — if you publish a waitlist page, the email addresses that people submit to it are stored so you (the page owner) can access them.

2. How we use your information

To provide the Service — generate verdicts, tools, and outputs from your input;
To manage your account, credits, plan, and history;
To process payments and prevent fraud and abuse;
To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service;
To communicate with you about your account or important changes.

3. How your idea content is processed

To produce a verdict or other output, the text you submit is sent to third-party AI model providers and web-search providers (see below). We send only what is needed to fulfil your request. We do not sell your idea content, and we do not publish any verdict unless you explicitly choose to make it public (e.g. via a share link).

4. Service providers & sub-processors

We rely on trusted third parties to run the Service:

AI model providers — Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude), Groq, SambaNova — to generate outputs from your input;
Serper — to run live web searches for grounding;
Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication and database (your account, credits, verdicts);
Razorpay — payment processing;
Vercel — hosting and delivery.

Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.

5. Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies/local storage for sign-in sessions and to remember your local history. If analytics are enabled, we may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand usage. We do not use invasive advertising trackers.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers listed above to operate the Service, or where required by law, or to protect our rights and prevent fraud or abuse.

7. Data retention

We keep your account and verdict data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data (see “Your rights”). Some records (e.g. transaction records) may be retained where required for legal or accounting purposes.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data — including server-side handling of API keys and secrets, and access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where applicable. To exercise these rights, email us at syedmustafaa024@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
